Join us for an informative session that combines theoretical insights with practical applications, providing a comprehensive understanding of modern leak detection systems.

We address the evolving landscape of energy transportation, particularly the shift from fossil-based to renewable energy sources. This transformation necessitates a parallel evolution in pipeline leak detection systems to ensure the safe and efficient monitoring of pipelines. This workshop aims to showcase the advantages of a cutting-edge leak detection system that integrates various API 1130 technologies into a unified solution.

Agenda:

14:00 – 15:00 Understanding the Basics

The first segment of our workshop delves into the fundamentals of pipeline leak detection. We explore different systems and models, addressing both technical limitations and possibilities: minimising false alarms, and capabilities of our integrated system. We also showcase examples of integrating the system into various SCADA architectures, exploring data transmission options like DSL, Ethernet, and wireless.

15:30 – 16:30 Practical Applications from renewable sources

In the second part of our workshop, we examine the impact of pipeline specifics on the leak detection system and introduce innovative concepts to overcome potential challenges. The emphasis is on achieving maximum benefits at minimum costs. Real-world field data will be presented, demonstrating the capabilities of our system in dynamic operational environments. We specifically focus on the extended real-time transient model (E-RTTM) and present practical examples related to Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) and Hydrogen, showcasing tangible results.

16:30 End of training / Discussion
