Interpretation and analysis of MFL data has achieved an advanced level of accuracy and time efficiency also in the realm of difficult to pig pipelines and offers a reliable resource in the management of pipeline integrity. This paper presents introductory discussion of signal analysis followed by case histories of fast-zero-wall-thickness-reporting for illegal tapping of pipelines, defect assessment in seamless pipe with heavy noise signal and pinhole detection in non-pigable pipelines.
